Approximate Dimensions: 8 inches by 10 inches
Description: Our first offering in this product line is called (unimaginatively) Dike 1. Measuring 8 inches by 10 inches, it depicts a single igneous dike or mineral vein cutting across a randomly jointed rock body. Paint the dike an off-white shade, and it can represent the sort of quartz vein that 19th century prospectors hoped to find filled with gold. Paint it a dark gray, and it can be a more ordinary igneous dike, found anyplace where volcanoes have been found in the past.
