Description: Shales are made up of slightly hardened mud, and they disintegrate back to mud pretty readily. Many shales are only seen in incomplete outcrops, with irregular blobs of finely detailed rock sticking up randomly out of the ground, with the low spots covered with soil or muddy debris.
The Rotten Shale kit includes five small, highly detailed pieces, which can be combined in nearly any arrangement you desire. It's a kit with no instructions-use your imagination!
